The Old Firehouse
The old Boston city firehouse in the mid 1980's during renovation and in 2013. The firehouse was built in 1872 and served the city of Boston until 1984 (see photo below) when a larger firehouse was built down the street. The building would later host the Jamaica Plain Arts Center and Breugger's Bagels. Today it is the home of JP Licks, which was founded in 1981 by Vince Petryk. The post office has since been replaced by a new two story building version.
